Introduction of the faculty:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The field of medical technology is a branch of medical sciences that is related to the diagnosis of diseases by performing tests in specialized laboratories such as hematology, immunology and serology, biochemistry and microbiology, etc. This field is taught in the universities of the world under the name of medical technology. The duration of study in this field is four years and a bachelor's degree in medical technology is awarded to the student. Khatam al-Nabieen University (PBUH) is the first university that has launched this field at the bachelor's level. Those who graduate from this field learn laboratory science professionally. The field of medical technology was launched in 1391 at Khatam al-Nabieen University (pbuh). The Faculty of Medical Technology strives to improve the quality of students' education in theoretical and practical courses every year. In this regard, there has been significant progress in the field of attracting expert faculty, holding scientific courses, seminars, conferences and workshops to familiarize with new diagnostic texts, preparing laboratory materials and equipment in accordance with international standards and national needs, and conducting research work. This course was launched as an independent faculty in Khatam al-Nabieen University (PBUH) in 2013.<\/p>\n

The Department of Medical Technology of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH) has well-equipped laboratories for training students. Active laboratories in this faculty are:<\/p>\n

    Introduction of content<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    The curriculum of this course is based on the credit system, where each credit is about 16 lessons.<\/p>\n

    In order for the students to learn the vocabulary of each subject well, they work on the theoretical topics in a practical way in the laboratories of the faculty.<\/p>\n

    In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students spend the internship period in the hospital laboratory to learn the disease diagnosis process through practical observation and to implement their theoretical learning in the practical stage.<\/p>\n

    \nObjective: To reveal the individual and scientific abilities of students and also provide training to acquire scientific and research skills in the future.<\/p>\n

    \nThe field of medical technology is offered at the bachelor's level during eight semesters.                               About the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                              The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry was established in the Faculty of Medical Technology in 2016. This department is responsible for the distribution of courses related to the department and has four faculty members. The department has a specific operational plan and has its own monthly meeting calendar, the problems related to professors' teaching and the professor's self-evaluations and the teacher's evaluation are done by the department, and the feedback is sent to the faculty head in a letter at the end of each semester.<\/p>\n

                                About the Department of Biology and Microbiology:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                                Biology is the science that studies all living things. Plants and animals, both unicellular and multicellular, are all discussed in this topic. The Department of Biology - Microbiology was created and started operating in the Faculty of Medical Technology in 2016. During its work, this department has tried to improve the quality of teaching in the subjects of biology, microbiology, genetics and courses related to this department in the faculties of medical medicine, dentistry, medical technology and midwifery by recruiting professors in the master's and doctoral degrees.<\/p>\n
